Charleston, West Virginia –The Independent Insurance Agents of West Virginia, also known as Big I WV, recently declared Michael Winter as the 2023 “Earl S. Dillard Agent of the Year”.
In the words of Traci Nelson, the CEO of Big I WV, “the Earl S. Dillard Award is presented annually to those association member agents who, throughout their career, have personified the qualities most admired by the profession”.
Winter is a fourth-generation agency owner with over 20 years of experience. His agency, Bray & Oakley, has 6 locations in Kentucky and West Virginia that provide quality service to their communities. Michael is well-respected and involved in the insurance industry. He is currently the treasurer of Big I WV and has served on the board of directors for 7 years. He also serves on the board of the LB&T Bank Holding Company Board, LB&T Audit Committee Board and LB&T Loan Discount Board. He lives in Charleston, WV with his wife, Larra, and 3 daughters.
