James Arthur Glasgow

Hometown:  Hartselle, AL

Graduated from Auburn University with a BS-1984 and MS-1985 in Agricultural Economics and Business.

Married to the former Anne Speake for 29 years and have two children Alice Anne and Katie.

Began insurance career in 1985 as a claims adjuster.  Formed Glasgow Insurance in 1988 and merged with Peck Insurance to form Peck-Glasgow Agency in 1991 and became the managing Principal.  Currently the agency has offices in Hartselle, Madison, Decatur and Moulton, Alabama. Member of the Hartselle Rotary Club, Hartselle, Decatur, Moulton and Madison Chambers of Commerce and Hartselle First United Methodist Church.

I have served on the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents Board of directors and as finance committee Chairman.  President of the Decatur Independent Insurance Agents, served on Insurance Company National and Regional Agent Advisory Councils, Including State Auto, Nationwide, and Aetna Insurance companies.

I have also served as President of the Hartselle Rotary Club
